Sunder (founded in 1989) is registered and involved in the production, processing and exporting of pure Certified Organic Products.

All the activities are held in Sunder’ s own factory, in Tire Organized Industrial Zone.

Turkey has important potential in biological agriculture. It is the result of sufficient climate, ecology, soil, water and competitive workmanship. Besides, it is one of the luckiest countries in the world by comprising rich variety of plants and products, on its flora.

With the vision of improving the sustainable earth and the healthy living conditions, we cultivate the delicious pure organic quality agricultural products both on our lands and on the lands acquired by contract farming system.

The products are mainly Certified Organic spices, herbal teas, and culinary and medicinal herbs.

To get the satisfactory results of 100% biological production; all the farms, farmers and the administration are controlled and certified according to EU Regulation No: 2092/91, for USA (USDA/NOP Standards) and for Japan (JAS Standards). All the products are KOSHER certified.

All the products hold a governmental health certificate (Phytosanitary Certificate) and a certificate for products gathered from organic production, which is issued by Control Union.
  
The analytical controls for checking the pesticide residues or doing the soil treatments are both held by Control Union in the independent laboratories abroad on behalf of us and also in Turkey.

Our main principle is not only to trade but also to support and propagate the organic movement. As being the pioneer grower of some biological herbs, seeds and spices in the west part of Turkey, Sunder is ambitious to train the farmers in the ecological movement; not only for production, and also to improve their social life and their life standards by promoting the sustainable agriculture.

Sunder wishes to promote awareness and understanding of organic production.

To maintain the effectiveness during the whole year, the company employs staff (15 people) for both the administration and project control with the seasonal staff of more than 50 people.

Sunder ’s vision is:

• To preserve the Mother Nature’s simple, magic combination of sun, rich soil and pure water,
• To keep on reliability of Certified Organics,
• To concentrate on a balanced range of organic medicinal and culinary herbs and teas,
• To place a premium on environmentally sound organic quality,
• To grow up products without additives and auxiliary agents,
• To have optimum preservation by special packaging to protect contents from light and prevent them from aroma decrease,
• To support the organic production and project developments,
• To offer the best possible price for the best quality product,
• To improve the social life standards of the farmers by training them the efficient style of working,
• To prevent spoiling the natural environment and to preserve the pure resources in addition to the human health,
• To avoid damaging nature by using recyclable material in packaging,
• To support (both socially and financially) the farmers who still use traditional farming techniques and also the ones who do not want to forget these techniques in future.

Our politics in Quality and Food Safety is to enhance the efficiency of our workers and the quality in our working conditions; which means trying our best to meet the customer expectations and requirements.

In this respect, we have established the installation of ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management Standards and HACCP Food Safety Management Standards by meeting the sufficient accreditation criteria. After a long period of installation process, work on certification has been accomplished successfully.

Due to the requirements of our quality and food safety regulations, we pay much attention on sterilization process of our organic products. Heat and steam sterilization can be done for our organic products upon request.

In our factory, the following points are to be met in priority:

• ISO 9001:2000 and HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points) accredited production,
• Continuous production with high-quality standards for a safe product,
• Work on enhancing and developing the current standards to higher levels by following the technical updates in the field.

We truly believe that we took many steps forward to protect and to improve the organic movement in Turkey. However, there are still many steps to be taken in order to protect the earth and nature by organic methods. We are happy to be one of the pioneers who promote this holistic movement.
